The Sea was that beautiful emerald green. In the distance you could see the rocks of Koh Ha, and the dark form of Koh Pi Pi out on the horizon We hired a long tail boat for the day from one of the Muslim fishermen. Getting your own fishing boat (and captain) is really the way to go, and much better than going on one of those silly fishing trips, crammed on little boats. This way, we had the whole boat to just the four of us, and we set off excited to catch some real fish.
We caught a lot of fish that day: A 25 Kilo blue Marlin, A huge King Mackerel, a Barracuda, some nice looking Tuna, and a few fish I cannot say in Thai. You can see by the photos and videos (at the bottom); we were ecstatic.

Or something, we're not experts, but it tasted good!
The spoils!
We did pretty good fishing in Koh Lanta. Thankfully, we had a good fisherman captain
That is what a Big Ass Marlin looks like. Yep.
We ate good that night. Then we ate good for the rest of the week. Feet Up bar, where Mong Bar used to be, at Lanta Paragon guest house in Klong Nin was our home base and BBQ pit. We fed the bar in a giant feast. This was the way to go fishing! Good times. Enjoy the pictures and video:
